We have been managing European fixed income since the 1980s and our products have since developed to capture all the sources of added value as the EMU process has evolved.

We manage portfolios against a range of government, aggregate and corporate only indices with varying outperformance targets and can offer tailor-made investment solutions to suit our clients' individual requirements. Within these products we look to construct portfolios with diversified sources of added value to minimise the volatility of returns.

Aberdeen Asset Management recently acquired a major part of Deutsche Bank’s asset management businesses in the UK and their Philadelphia-based Active Fixed Income business. We are currently working towards finalising product information, at which point this website will be updated.

New Fund Range

Aberdeen Asset Management has launched a range of Fixed Income Alpha Funds, designed to provide institutional investors with some unique investment opportunities including :

  • higher outperformance targets than more traditional fixed income strategies
  • the ability to match assets and liability durations more closely
  • access to swap overlay strategies through a pooled fund wrapper
